This Privacy Policy explains how DataFirst Logistics B.V. ("DataFirst", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our websites, software, and services (the "Services"), including our use of YouTube API Services.
1. Who we are
DataFirst Logistics B.V. builds route- and fleet-optimization software. You can reach us at info@datafirstlogistics.com.
2. Use of YouTube API Services
Parts of our Services use YouTube API Services to publish our own original educational videos to our own YouTube channel. By using those features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our use of information received from YouTube API Services adheres to the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and we handle any Google user data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.
3. What data we access
We authenticate to our own YouTube channel via Google OAuth. Through the YouTube API we access only what is needed to upload and schedule our own videos. We do not access, collect, or store the personal data, channels, watch history, or content of any other YouTube users.
4. How we store and protect data
OAuth access and refresh tokens for our own channel are stored securely and used solely to upload our own content. We do not sell data, and we do not share YouTube-derived data with third parties except as required to provide the Services or by law.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain authorization tokens only for as long as needed to operate the upload feature. You can revoke our application's access to your Google account at any time via the Google security settings page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions). To request deletion of any data we hold about you, email info@datafirstlogistics.com and we will delete it promptly.
6. Cookies
Our website may use essential cookies to function. We do not use YouTube API data for advertising.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
